Our Services

Central Health works through a network of health care partners and community members to connect uninsured, underinsured, and low-income residents with high-quality, cost-effective health care. We use local and federal funds to create access to and transform safety net health care services through:

Our Accomplishments

Over the 2015 fiscal year (Oct. 1, 2014 – Sept. 30, 2015):

  • FY2016 Central Health Annual Report-1109,428 people received care that was paid for by Central Health
  • 9% decrease in Medical Access Program enrollee emergency room visits, compared to 2014 fiscal year
  • 24,257 people on average were enrolled in the Medical Access Program each month
  • 376,949 primary care visits were completed
    • 304,974 were medical visits
    • 47,332 were dental visits
    • 24,643 were behavioral health visits
