How do I register to receive the solicitation when it's issued?
We will notify all interested parties upon release of the RFP/RFQ. To add your name please complete the Questions form and be sure to click YES when asked if you wish to be notified.
How do I register to submit a proposal?
BidSync is Central Health’s online tool to procure goods and services.
Please visit BidSync’s site at www.bidsync.com to register.
There is no cost to register.
When searching be sure to enter the phrase “Travis County Healthcare District” (including quotation marks) which is Central Health’s legal name.
Is there a timeline for the RFQ/RFP process?
The timeline will be clearly stated in the solicitation documents available through Bid Sync.
Where can I get general information about the RFP/RFQ process?
Central Health will issue the RFQ on Sept. 1, 2016.
Following the release of the RFQ, qualified firms will be asked to respond to an RFP to solicit qualifications specific to the project.
The timeline and evaluation process will be stated in the solicitation document.
It is Central Health’ policy that registered Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUBs) have the maximum opportunity to participate in the performance of Central Health’ contracts and subcontracts. Proposers shall make a “good faith effort” to take all necessary and reasonable steps to ensure that HUBs have the maximum opportunity to participate as subcontractors.
Failure by a contractor or subcontractor to carry out this “good faith effort” shall constitute a breach of contract and, after notification of such breach by Central Health, may result in termination of the contract.
Will there me an opportunity to meet with Central Health staff prior to the RFP closing date?
There is an RFQ pre-proposal meeting from approximately 9:00am – 1:00pm, Thursday, Sept. 15, 2016 at the Dell Medical School’s Health Learning Building, 1501 Red River Street, Austin, Texas 78701.
