• A thorough performance review will have the ability to measure the work underway to develop operational plans to fill the gaps identified in the Health Equity Plan.  Part of this measure will be knowing what else is needed and additive to the work underway.
• The scope of work should consider that Central Health is not an insurance plan; but, rather, a health care district created by statute that funds care in a way that is different from an insurance plan, which pools risk and sells insurance products.
• Consider that current partnership discussions are underway that will require whether standards have been met, per direction of the Board of Managers.  A review by an outside, independent firm does not limit or preclude resolution of any issues or any available remedy to ensure standards are met.
