For materials to be printed an EPS file is preferred. Generally EPS files can only be viewed using specific software such as Adobe Illustrator or PhotoShop. If using Microsoft Word or other software incapable of using the EPS format, a high-resolution TIFF file is also available.
JPEG and PNG files are preferred for usage online. A PNG file has the advantage of a transparent background, meaning the logo will NOT be surrounded by a white background. However, against backgrounds of certain colors the logo may not be clearly visible, in which cases the JPEG version with the white background is preferable.
If any questions arise as to the appropriateness of using the logo(s) please refer to the Central Health Brand Standards Guide or contact the Communications Team.
