မတ္ ၂၆၊ ၂၀၂၆
AUSTIN, Texas — Central Health has received an unqualified (otherwise known as “clean”) opinion for its fiscal year 2025 (Oct. 1, 2024–Sep. 30, 2025) audited financial statements as reported to the Central Health Board of Managers by Punja Patel, a partner with Maxwell, Locke & Ritter.
An unqualified opinion is the best opinion that can be received on audited financial statements and is the highest level of assurance that an audit firm can issue. This means Central Health’s financial statements were accurately reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. In addition, the audit firm reported no instances of material weaknesses in internal controls, and no instances of noncompliance required to be reported under governmental auditing standards.
Central Health has received a clean opinion every year dating back to fiscal year 2005, its first year of operation.
The financial statements also include those of the entire Central Health system, which includes CommUnityCare Health Centers and Sendero Health Plans. A separate audit for each organization was conducted independent of the Central Health audit, with both CommUnityCare Health Centers and Sendero Health Plans also receiving clean audit opinions—CommUnityCare for their fiscal year running Oct. 1, 2024–Sept. 30, 2025, and Sendero Health Plans for the calendar year 2024.
Nicki Riley, deputy chief financial officer, thanked the board for their support in adhering to rigorous financial reporting practices and results.
