Central Health Highlights New Colony Park Health & Wellness Center
September 10, 2025
AUSTIN, Texas — Central Health is sharing a look of its new Colony Park Health & Wellness Center, a 32,000 square foot facility that will bring vital health services and community space to Northeast Austin. Central Health is working closely with the Colony Park community on this project.
Expected to open in Spring 2027, the $37 million center will feature:
- Adult Primary Care
- Dental Services
- Pharmacy with Drive-Thru
- Lab Services
- Wellness Programs
- Community Rooms
- Eligibility and enrollment services
The renderings reveal a modern, community-focused design that reflects Central Health’s mission to expand access to care in historically underserved communities.
“This center represents more than just a building, it’s a promise to the people of Colony Park,” said Dr. Pat Lee, Central Health president & CEO. “For too long, residents have had to travel far from home for basic care. The Colony Park Health & Wellness Center will change that by bringing high-quality, whole-person care right into the heart of the community while also creating a space for neighbors to gather and connect.”
Building a Sustainable Community
The health and wellness center is a cornerstone of the new Colony Park Sustainable Community, a 200-acre planned development in Northeast Austin that will include up to 3,000 new residencies, retail, offices, and infrastructure improvements.
For decades, Colony Park residents and leaders have advocated for basic neighborhood amenities such as health care. The new Colony Park Health & Wellness Center will finally deliver on that mission.
Groundbreaking is expected in 2026, with doors opening to patients in Spring 2027.
