The City of Austin and Travis County each appoint four members to the Central Health Board of Managers, in addition to a consensus candidate jointly selected by both entities. How To Join A Meeting

Members of the public may join meetings using Zoom or a web browser by clicking the link in the meeting description.

Clicking the link provided in each meeting agenda will direct to a webpage with instructions to either download the Zoom app, which will then automatically connect to the meeting, or permit the user to choose to join the meeting via their web browser. This option will require the user to manually enter the unique Meeting ID # and password, both available in the meeting description above.

The teleconference system allows for two-way communication by members of the public, as required by established meeting rules.

You will need to sign up to speak to sign up to speak during the Public Communication portion of the meeting.

Meetings are also broadcast live and archived on our YouTube channel.

General Info

The Central Health Board of Managers typically meets at 4:00 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday of each month at the Central Health Administrative Offices, 1111 E. Cesar Chavez St, Austin, TX 78702, unless otherwise posted.

Other committee meetings and special called meetings are held throughout the month at the Central Health Cesar Chavez offices.

All Central Health Board of Managers meetings are open to the public as required by the Texas Open Meetings Act.

Meeting information and agendas are posted a minimum of 72 hours before each meeting at the Central Health Administrative Offices. Agendas are also posted on this site as an added courtesy.

ALL meeting times, dates, and locations are subject to change within 72 hours of the posted start of the meeting. Changes will be noted in the Calendar.
