Central Health Hosts Community Conversation for Future Del Valle Facility in Eastern Travis County

February 25, 2021

(Austin) – Central Health will host a virtual informational session on the future Del Valle Health & Wellness Center at 11:30 a.m. (English) and 1 p.m. (Spanish), Thursday, Feb. 25. Central Health will share the latest project information including site concepts, project timeline, and ways for the community to share feedback on site features and amenities.

The new Del Valle Bend Health & Wellness Center will provide high quality care for residents with low income and no-insurance in Eastern Travis County.

Current proposed services include primary care, integrated mental health and oral health assessment, an on-site pharmacy, and accessible community gathering space.

“Central Health is working diligently to address a long history of health inequity in Travis County, and part of that work means engaging with and involving the communities directly affected by our work,” Central Health President & CEO Mike Geeslin said.

Construction for the new Del Valle facility is expected to start in late 2021.
