We are pleased to announce the hiring of our new Community Relations Manager, Carlos Femat, who begins work this week.
Previously the Director of Marketing for the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, Mr. Femat brings wide-ranging experience, from public speaking, developing community outreach programs, designing and implementing education campaigns, marketing, and design. His work with organizations such as the Texas Department of State Health Services, where he served as Communications Specialist, and with private firms, such as Sherry Matthews Advocacy Marketing, as well as a self-employed contractor, contribute to an extensive resume of skills and accomplishments.
Mr. Femat is fluent in English and Spanish, a skill essential to Central Health’s outreach into Travis County’s Hispanic community. He has also been awarded over the course of his career a total of 75 local, state, and regional Addy awards for art direction on advertising campaigns, as well as 10 club, area, and division Toastmasters International awards in public-speaking competitions.
We are extremely excited to have such a versatile, well-rounded and accomplished individual join the staff at Central Health.
