Director of Government Affairs Named

Central Health and CommUnityCare are pleased to announce that Ms. Ann-Marie Price has accepted the position of Director of Government Affairs for both organizations and will start in the role on Monday, April 16th.

Ms. Price brings extensive experience and qualifications to the position, as well as a highly relevant knowledge-base. In addition to her most recent role as the Associate Vice President of Government Relations with Amerigroup, she has worked as the Texas House of Representatives Committee Director for Public Health, and as an Advisor to Governor Rick Perry on Health Policy. Further, Ms. Price has held a number of other posts in which she worked extensively with issues related to Medicaid and CHIP, as well as Texas State Legislation. Critical to the expected changes to Medicaid funding, she also has extensive knowledge of the Texas Healthcare Transformation and Quality Improvement Program1115 Waiver, which is a focal issue for Central Health and CommUnityCare.
