New locations for Seton clinics

June 26, 2017

Several clinics at the Clinical Education Center have moved. Most of the clinics are now located at:
• Health Transformation Building (HTB) located at 1601 Trinity St., across Waller Creek from Dell Seton Medical Center at The University of Texas is a key part of Dell Medical School’s mission to rethink how people get and stay healthy. The building brings many different specialties together on one floor, allowing our clinical teams to collaborate easily.
• Seton McCarthy Community Health Center, near E. Cesar Chavez St., which also provides primary health services close to medically underserved families in Austin.
• Central Health Southeast Health & Wellness Center at 2901 Montopolis Drive in Austin. This transition is among Central Health—the healthcare district serving Travis County— and local healthcare providers, like Seton and CommUnityCare, to improve access to healthcare, reduce wait times to see specialist doctors and increase convenience for patients. Seton specialty care physicians continue to provide care at Southeast Health & Wellness. And the clinics continue to accept referrals for low-income and uninsured patients, including those enrolled in Central Health’s Medical Access Program (MAP).
• Medical Park Tower at 1301 W. 38 St., Suite 113 (1st Floor) for the Seton Cancer Care Collaborative.

The CEC is still home to the following clinics:
• Infectious Disease, Orthopedics, Podiatry, Cast, Outpatient Wound Care, and CyberKnife on the first floor;
• Seton Total Health and Diabetes Education on the second floor;
• Vascular Clinic, which relocated from UMCB to the CEC, and is located on the third floor, Suite 320.
