A lot is happening at the Del Valle Health & Wellness Center. The foundation has been poured and construction crews have begun building the framing. Central Health staff are currently contracting for additional services and soliciting businesses to address area road improvements. Staff are evaluating the estimated opening date, but they still project the center to open by the end of 2023.
The Del Valle Health and Wellness Center will offer primary care, dental care, integrated mental health, and a drive-thru retail pharmacy. The center will be the result of multiple years of extensive community engagement – guided by the Community Advisory Committee (members of the Del Valle Health & Wellness Center Community Advisory Committee include neighborhood association presidents, residents, Del Valle ISD trustees, Del Valle ISD parent community liaisons, faith-based leaders, and other community leaders).
