Blanca Gaytán
With more than 20 years at TelevisaUnivision Austin, Blanca Gaytán knows how to bring a room to life. A bilingual TV and radio favorite, she hosts Despierta Austin, Contigo en la Comunidad, and Desde Cabina, and can also be heard on Amor 107.7 FM. A trusted presence in our community, she’s just as active off-air—championing local education and mentorship initiatives across Central Texas.

Andrea Daniela

Get the morning moving with Andrea Daniela, a Mexican-American singer, songwriter, and violinist based right here in Austin. Known for her “mariachi alternativo” sound, she blends traditional mariachi with cumbia, pop, hip-hop, R&B, and funk for a sound all her own. Her debut album, Mariachi Mestiza y Mala Mujer, dropped in March 2026—come hear what makes her sound stand out.
Leti Garza

Leti Garza’s music tells a story—one that weaves her heritage with love, resilience, and hope. As a Mexican-American singer, songwriter, and storyteller, her voice carries both tenderness and strength, filling the room with songs that feel honest, healing, and deeply human.
Mariachi Las Águilas
2:30 p.m.
Mariachi Las Águilas is the premier student mariachi ensemble at Akins Early College High School in Austin, Texas. As part of the Fine Arts Department, the group performs traditional Mexican folk music using authentic instrumentation and vocals at UIL contests, school showcases, and local cultural events. Through dedication and rigorous rehearsal, members celebrate Hispanic culture and build teamwork skills while proudly representing their school spirit.

Don’t miss these talented local high school students bringing the vibrant traditions of Mexico to life. Last year, they lit up the stage with the dances from Jalisco. This year, they’re back with the colorful, joyful rhythms of Veracruz.
Danzas Folklóricas Venezuela in Austin

Founded by María Rivers, with artistic direction by Rina Odreman, this group is a celebration of Venezuelan culture in motion. Through dance, music, and community, they keep those traditions alive and share the beauty of that heritage across Central Texas.

Alemyr Navas
1:10 p.m.
Alemyr Navas is an administrator, life coach, and educator with specialized training in university-level teaching, accelerated learning, and neuro-linguistic programming. She currently works remotely for the Boston-based organization Mujeres Unidas Avanzando, preparing Latino adults to obtain their high school equivalency through the HiSET program. Additionally, she is an international Laughter Yoga instructor and leads a Personal Development Diploma program focused on enhancing well-being, self-awareness, and leadership.
