Credentialing

The Provider will participate in the formal process through which the Central Health or its designee collects, verifies, and evaluates the professional credentials and qualifications of licensed individual providers against the criteria, standards, and requirements established by Central Health for providing health care services to Eligible Patients.

This process may take between 90 and 180 days to complete. Initial credentialing approval is valid for a period of three (3) years. Providers are required to participate in the recredentialing process every three (3) years to maintain participation in-network. Providers are responsible for submitting all requested documentation within the required timeframe.
