The Central Health Pre-Operative Assessment will help you prepare for any upcoming surgery you might have. Our team will check your health and coordinate your care. This helps us ensure your surgery or procedure happens on time and that you get the treatment you need without waiting too long.

Services we provide

Don’t worry about what happens before your surgery or procedure. If you have chronic health conditions or issues that may affect your ability to undergo anesthesia safely, ask your doctor about our Pre-Operative Assessment and let us help you prepare with the following:

• Prescribed medications: We’ll review your medications and tell you which ones to take before your surgery or procedure.
• Medical conditions: We’ll discuss your past medical conditions.
• Labs: We may do some tests to check your blood, urine, and other things in your body.
• Testing: We can check things like your blood sugar right in the office, as well as perform electrocardiograms (EKGs), which play a crucial role in evaluating cardiovascular health and identifying any potential risks or abnormalities that could affect a person’s ability to undergo surgery safely.
• Common procedures: Sometimes we need more tests like heart checks or X-rays. If there are procedures you need to get done outside our clinic, we can help you schedule these.
• Referrals: Sometimes we need more information about your health conditions and may send you to a specialist for further evaluation.
