Podiatry is the medical field that focuses on your feet and ankles. Podiatrists, also called foot doctors, help treat problems like foot pain, injuries, and conditions such as ingrown toenails or bunions. They make sure your feet are healthy so you can stay active and maintain mobility. Healthy feet are essential for everyday activities like walking, running, and standing.
Podiatrists diagnose and treat conditions affecting the feet and ankles and help identify complications related to diabetes, circulation problems, and other chronic health conditions. Taking care of your feet helps you stay active and improves your overall well-being.
Service we provide
Central Health provides examination and treatment (medical and surgical) of ankle and foot pathology including the following:
- Foot/ankle deformities
- Bunions/hammertoes
- Ingrown toenails
- Plantar fasciitis
- Ganglion cyst
- Foot/ankle pain
- Wounds related to nerve damage or poor circulation
- Diabetic footcare, wound prevention, and ulcer management
- Foot and ankle injuries, including sprains, fractures, and other trauma
Central Health provides the following services:
- We offer both in-clinic care and surgical treatment for foot and ankle conditions, depending on your needs.
- Casting for foot and ankle injuries or deformities
- We also offer podiatry x-ray and wound care services for patients receiving care through Central Health podiatry
- Our podiatry team coordinates care across clinic and surgical settings to ensure you receive the right treatment at every stage of your care
