Central Health Northeast Health & Resource Center
As part of a long-term strategy to bring health care services and resources to Northeast Travis County, Central Health and partners are offering health and wellness services on the east corner of the Barbara Jordan Elementary School campus.
These services are a direct result of a collaborative effort among residents of Northeast Travis County, Central Health, and CommUnityCare.
Get primary care, help applying for benefits, and free supplies for your family in Northeast Travis County. The center is on the Barbara Jordan Elementary School campus. Northeast Travis County residents worked with Central Health and CommUnityCare Health Centers to open it in 2021.

Looking ahead to 2027
Working with the City of Austin and the community as part of the Colony Park Sustainable Community effort, Central Health is building a new health and wellness center.
This new center will expand current services and programs in northeast Austin, including:
- Primary care
- Dental services
- Behavioral health services
- On-site pharmacy with drive-thru
- Lab services
- Wellness and preventive care programs
- Community resources and enrollment assistance

Expanding care in the Northeast
The upcoming Colony Park Health & Wellness Center is under construction and will offer wellness and preventive care programs, plus enrollment help and community resources, so families can get care earlier and closer to home. It grew out of years of community advocacy and builds on care that began here with a mobile medical clinic in 2019 and the Northeast Health Resource Center in 2021.
What’s next for the Northeast Health & Resource Center
It will remain open and continue supporting residents. Once the new center opens, it will replace the current center, and services here will move to the new location.
