Say goodbye to digestive problems

Gastroenterology is the study of the digestive system and its disorders. Gastroenterologists are doctors who specialize in gastroenterology, diagnosing, and treating conditions affecting the esophagus (the tube that connects your throat to your stomach), stomach, intestines, liver, pancreas, and gallbladder.

Getting the right care for your digestive system is important. Finding and treating problems early can improve your health and well-being. Untreated problems like heartburn, stomach pain, and liver diseases can get worse over time.

Customized, compassionate care to treat diseases of the digestive system

At Central Health we’ve added more services, including full care for stomach and digestive problems, for MAP and MAP Basic patients. Our new gastroenterology services cover:

  • Abdominal pain
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Gas, bloating, or altered bowel habits
  • GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease)
  • Dysphagia (difficulty swallowing)
  • Chronic diarrhea
  • Chronic constipation
  • Hepatitis B & C
  • Anemia
  • Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)
  • Cirrhosis (scarring of the liver)
  • Colon cancer screenings
  • Screening for cancer of the esophagus
  • Hepatic tumors and cysts
