We’re making important upgrades to better serve you. The Northeast Health Resource Center (NEHRC) has some services that are temporarily unavailable as we replace our current clinic building with a brand-new modular clinic. During this time, services will shift to other locations.

As part of a long-term strategy to bring health care services and resources to Northeast Travis County, Central Health and partners are offering health and wellness services on the east corner of the Barbara Jordan Elementary School campus.
These services are a direct result of a collaborative effort among residents of Northeast Travis County, Central Health, and CommUnityCare.

- WIC (every third Wednesday of the month from 9AM-4PM)

Looking ahead to 2026: Health and Wellness Center in Northeast
Working with the City of Austin and the community as part of the Colony Park Sustainable Community effort, Central Health will build a new health and wellness center.
This new center will expand current services and programs in northeast Austin, possibly including:
- Primary care, dental care, laboratory, and pharmacy
- Continued help to sign up for WIC, SNAP, and MAP
- Community fitness classes, cooking demos, and community meeting spaces
