Rheumatology Services
Central Health offers rheumatology care for people with autoimmune conditions and arthritis. Rheumatologists are also doctors who help people with problems in their joints, muscles, and bones. These problems can cause pain, swelling, and make it hard to move.
Autoimmune diseases happen when your body’s immune system gets confused. Instead of fighting germs that cause diseases, it fights parts of your own body. This can cause swelling, pain, and other problems.
Inflammation is one way your body heals from injuries or diseases. In some cases, parts of the body get inflamed when they don’t need to, causing pain and swelling.
